SYLOSIS' Josh Middleton Talks About Touring With LAMB OF GOD, New York City Crowds & More!

UK based modern thrash heroes SYLOSIS recently wrapped up a massive U.S. tour with LAMB OF GOD, along with Swedish titans IN FLAMES, HATEBREED or HELLYEAH. The cool part about SYLOSIS' involvement on this tour is that they were hand picked by LAMB OF GOD drummer Chris Adler, who is an avid fan of the band.

"Little known secret; METALLICA's '...And Justice For All' and DEATH's 'Symbolic' record had a baby. It was tossed into a junkyard and forgotten about. It ate Metal and drank gasoline until it broke free and began to kill. SYLOSIS defines modern speed Metal. " – Chris Adler (LAMB OF GOD)

Following, SYLOSIS crushing set at New York City's Roseland Ballroom on Friday, November 16, 2012, we had the chance to once again chat with the bands singer/guitarist Josh Middleton. During the interview, which you can watch below, we chatted with Middleton about what it is like to tour with some of Heavy Music's biggest acts and how the crowds in New York City vary according to the venue and according to the day of the week! Check it out, and make sure you crank some SYLOSIS music!

SYLOSIS’ latest album, 'Monolith' was recorded with Romesh Dodangoda in Wales at Monnow Valley Studio and mastered by Jens Bogren (SOILWORK, AMON AMARTH, BLOODBATH) at Fascination Street Studios. The concept for the lyrics were loosely inspired by the Greek tale of Orpheus and Eurydice. The artwork was created this time around by Dan Goldsworthy (ACCEPT, HELL).

In-studio footage chronicling the making of 'Monolith' can also be viewed using the links below.
