Former White Zombie Drummer Phil Buerstatte Passes Away At The Age Of 43

According to BLABBERMOUTH,
drummer Phil Buerstatte (ex-WHITE ZOMBIE, ex-LAST CRACK) was reportedly found dead over the weekend in Madison, Wisconsin. No further details are available at this time. Buerstatte was only 43 years old.

Buerstatte drummed with WHITE ZOMBIE between 1992 and 1994. He jammed with the band on the "La Sexorcisto" tour. He was also a member of LAST CRACK (
a Metal band from Wisconsin) from 1986 to 1997.

Reportedly, last August, a man claiming to be Buerstatte was arrested on suspicion of defrauding a drug and alcohol rehabilitation center in Sausalito, California. This same man allegedly tried to pay $75,000 for his treatment at the Alta Mira Recovery Center in June with a fraudulent check and bank account information.

We will keep you up to date regarding this very sad news. Rock In Peace, Phil! Our condolences go out to Phil's family, friends, and fans.

I will be the 1st... Phil was a GOOD dude. Cool, funny, easy to get along with, SUPER talented, a Badass Drummer. Sadly... his demons were too much for him to handle, and hopefully he's in a pain-free, much better place now. R.I.P Philo.
